Persistent Review & Reflection
Evaluation activities use the same authoring and course infrastructure, but are completed individually rather than in groups.
1. Assessment Authoring
Quizzes and tests are authored using the same structured format and stored in the course library alongside collaborative activities.
This allows:
- consistent question design
- reuse across classes
- alignment between formative and summative assessment
2. Class and Student Access
Instructors use the same Class ID system.
Students join once and access all course assessments through the same interface.
3. Test Administration
The instructor assigns an evaluation activity:
- during class
- or within a defined time window
Students complete the assessment individually.
4. AI-Assisted Evaluation
After submission, coLearn-AI:
- applies instructor-defined scoring rubrics
- evaluates responses
- generates explanations where appropriate
Grading occurs only after submission.
5. Persistent Review & Reflection
Once released:
- Students can review:
- their answers
- explanations of incorrect reasoning
- correct clinical reasoning pathways
- Instructors can review:
- overall performance
- common misconceptions
- areas requiring follow-up instruction
Assessments become learning tools, not just grading events.
